Paleontological rafting on the Ay river

From 28 to 30 June, biologists of the Yangan-Tau Geopark Polezhankina Polina, Mokeev Denis and Bogdan Ekaterina, accompanied by Bogdan Yaroslav and dog Taigun, rafted along the Ay river to search for the remains of the Pleistocene megafauna. Was viewed by the beaches and cliffs of the river at the site of the Lucky Village to the Elanysh Village (at a distance of about 53 km). The main findings were made near the village of Lagerevo. The species of bone remains will be determined by paleontologists, but it is already known that it was possible to find the bones of a woolly rhinoceros.
