Relevance and importance of the problem.
We live in a beautiful place. Ay, Yuryuzan and other small rivers flow through the territory of the Geopark. They are one of the most important natural resources of our region. The importance of rivers in nature, in the national economy, and in the life of society is inestimable. Rivers play a huge role in the water cycle in nature, soften the climate, and enliven the landscape. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the river in human life. They feed with life-giving moisture in the summer heat, attract vacationers. The locals use the water for household needs, irrigate vegetable gardens, to catch fish.
Sources of river pollution.
Unfortunately, the river banks are heavily polluted with household garbage: plastic bottles,glass, discarded weeds from vegetable gardens, waste from harvesting.We really like our rivers and we must protect them. Rivers should live and please future generations!
General provisions.
The environmental contest My family for a clean coast (hereinafter referred to as the Contest) is held on the territory of the Yangan - Tau Geopark in order to attract the attention of all citizens to the problems of environmental pollution, practical participation in solving environmental problems, assistance in cleaning the river banks from garbage, as well as fostering a culture of respect for nature.
The Competition is organized by partners of the Yangan-Tau Geopark.
The goal of the Competition is to foster citizenship and responsible attitude of humanity to its environment.
Competition problem:
- Support for the initiative of Salavat district residents in solving problems of river pollution;
- Education of ecological culture in children.

Families with children and all concerned citizens are invited to participate in the Competition.
Works are accepted from July 1 to August 1, 2020.
The order of the Competition.
Contestants agree to publish their works in the media.
All work on cleaning territories should be carried out in compliance with sanitation standards.
Awarding the winners of the Competition.
The winners of the Competition (three families) will receive the main prize: rafting on one of the rivers of the Yangan-Tau Geopark.
