On the Day of Older Persons, on October 1, a group of veterans from the village of Yazgi-Yurt of the Salavat district of Bashkiria went on a tour along the tourist route “In the footsteps of Salavat”. First of all, they arrived at the Salavat Yulaev Museum, where a tour of the exhibition halls was organized for them. Then the veterans went to the place of the native village of Batyr Tekeevo. The geogark of Geopark Zilya Sadykova told in detail about the history of these places, about the route of PS. Pallas; showed the main attractions: a stone yurt, stelae. Then the travelers proceeded to the Idrisov Cave, where they saw beautiful rocks, caves and the Yuryuzan River; heard many amazing legends about these places; saw drawings of primitive people. On the way back, the travelers took water from the spring of Zuleikha, named after the beloved wife of Salavat.
Veterans were satisfied with the organization of excursions, good weather. It was a great success for them to participate in a festive event organized for Maloyaz veterans in the District House of Culture.
The autotravel participants are grateful to Zabir Sitdikov, head of the rural settlement of Lagerevsky village council, Zile Sadykova, director of the Salavat Yulaev Museum, Zili Sadykova, an individual entrepreneur, and Gazimulla Mukhametshin, a bus driver, for good organization of the excursion to Salavat Yulaev’s hometown.
