Hydrogeological nature monument of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It is a powerful underground spring with a mineral water flow rate of 100-125 l / sec. The spring is formed by a stream descending from the slopes of the Karatau ridge. A mineral water bottling facility is located approximately 1 km northwest of the mineral spring. The water of the spring is used as a therapeutic drinking water.

Hydrogeological description
The spring is formed by several powerful griffins, whose water is squeezed out to the earth's surface along tectonic faults. The height of the water rise is 600-800 meters, so it has a constant temperature all year round - about 16 degrees. By its chemical composition, water is bicarbonate, magnesium-calcium, and contains active trivalent arsenic acid. Despite the high content of microelements useful for the body in the water of the Kurgazak spring, it has almost no taste.

Healing properties

The healing properties of water from a mineral spring are also widely known. For many years, it has been used to treat stomach diseases - gastritis, ulcers, liver diseases, pancreatitis, etc. When taken orally, water has a slight analgesic effect. In the nearby Yangan-Tau sanatorium, mineral water is actively used for various procedures, including for external use-baths, showers, swimming pools. Water is supplied to the sanatorium through a specially laid water supply system.
