SUBBOTNIK IN GEOPARK ON EARTH DAY
On April 22, the Yangan-Tau Geopark staff in the vicinity of the geopark visitor center held a subbotnik dedicated to Earth Day. A ravine along the Kurgazak spring and the floodplain of the Yuryuzan River near the Suspension Bridge were cleared of rubbish.
Earth Day is a name used in relation to various events held in the spring and designed to encourage people to be more attentive to the fragile and vulnerable planet Earth, to think again about the problems of the environment. On this day, the indifferent inhabitants of the planet carry out a large-scale environmental protection action, solve problems of landscaping and planting villages, expanding the area of green plantings, and also reducing land pollution with solid household waste.
