On November 27, a lecture by the famous historian and TV host Salavat Khamidullin was held in the district center of the Salavat District. Salavat Ishmukhametovich is widely known as a brilliant TV host of regional historical programs, but in addition he is the author of the multi-volume “History of Bashkir Births”. The books in the series “History of Bashkir clans” provide the most extensive information about those or other tribal associations inhabiting the territories of historical Bashkortostan.
The meeting was opened by the head of the Salavat district M.F. Kashapov. He stressed the importance of the event and the need for the birth movement for historical memory.
The event ended with a concert of the ethno-rock group Argymak, who perform folk songs in rock processing. Similar creative meetings Salavat Khamidullin intends to conduct further and thanked the Yangan-Tau geopark for the invitation.
