On may 14 the first meeting of hunters living in Yangantau village or working in the Yangan-Tau Resort was held.
After the end of the spring season of hunting for birds, the participants discussed the state of hunting resources of Salavat district, the problems of protection of hunting grounds, the need to strengthen public control in the fight against poaching.
The meeting also held a training session on the field definition of living in the Geopark of goose and chicken birds listed in the Red book of Russia or the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The result of the meeting was the decision of the participants to take an active part in environmental activities and accounting of hunting resources held by the Association of hunters and fishermen of the Republic of Bashkortostan and employees of the Yangan-Tau Geopark in Salavat district.
At the next meeting it is planned to create a primary collective of hunters "Yangan-Tau" at the Salavat branch of the Association of hunters and fishermen, whose members will help and assist in the protection and reproduction of hunting and fishing resources and participate in the fight against violators of the rules of hunting and fishing.
