Honey samples have been collected for pollen (melissopalynological) analysis. Based on the results of these studies, a Yangan-Tau Honey Map will be prepared to characterize the region's honey resources, and you will personally get the most information about your products.
Honey pollen analysis is carried out by Ravil Gadelievich Kurmanov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher of the Cenozoic Geology Laboratory, on the basis of the Institute of Geology of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
For pollen analysis 10 grams of honey are required. Samples (not more than 2 grams) should be provided in plastic containers. On the label or in an accompanying letter, you should specify the name of the beekeeper, the location of the apiary (hospital or beekeeping place) and contact information (phone, e-mail). For the analysis you can provide both fresh and last year's samples. The pollen compositions of the samples and data on the botanical origin of honey will be provided in the form of protocols to each participating beekeeper after the general conclusion is prepared.
You can leave your samples at the Yangan-Tau Geopark Visit Center.
