April 15 is a vital holiday for the Earth itself - Environmental Knowledge Day. The call of the UN Conference on this day in 1992 directed all governments to improve the quality of environmental education for all. Humanity is constantly ruthlessly harming nature as if it were a madman, destroying the environment - the only possibility for itself.
April 15, 1996 was the start of the All-Russian movement "Days of environmental protection from ecological danger". People plant green spaces, clean up water bodies and build springs. The movement finishes on June 5 on World Environment Day. The ultimate goal of all environmental events is to convey the most important message: "Nature needs to be protected so that mankind can survive" - to every person.
In Yangan-Tau Geopark, a lot of attention is paid to environmental education: there are lectures, excursions around the territory of the Geopark, internet contests related to the study and preservation of wildlife, clean-ups and other activities.
