Lectures for schoolchildren in the district

As part of the educational task since the beginning of the school year, Geopark employees have held visiting lectures on the ancient history of the district at schools in Salavatsky district ⌛

Military reconstructor, researcher of paleo-DNA Khabibullin E.I. and historian-ethnographer Sitdikov A.R. in a concise form revealed to pupils unknown pages of history, chronologically covering a huge slice of history from the Mesolithic to the mature Middle Ages ⚔.

The presentation gave the students an insight into the archaeological monuments of the area and their explorers. Reconstructions of armour, early medieval weapons, reconstructed on the basis of archaeological finds, were demonstrated for the purpose of clarity

So far, lectures have been held in eight schools in the northern part of the district. After the New Year holidays, Geopark staff will resume the lectures until all major schools in the district have been covered!
