At 10 a.m. near the cantilever bridge at Yuryuzan, the guests were met by the villagers, and this year Kalmaklar celebrates its 290th anniversary, and the district management also came to congratulate the villagers, who assured that this summer there will be gas in Kalmaklarovo and that the roads will be repaired. And the villagers themselves prepared a real folklore holiday, demonstrating two folk traditions at once - sewing a patchwork blanket and making yarn from sheep's wool.
Everyone could even try to cut a sheep's hair and wave a scythe for a complete immersion in the countryside. And if not everybody dared to cut the fleece, then there were enough people who wanted to leave the slope - from an official to an associate professor.
At the same time in Yulayevo the holiday of a meeting of fellow villagers began. On the hill near the birch grove all those who have roots in this glorious village met. Famous public figures and local history experts Radik Vakhitov and Viktor Khakimov were among the honored guests. And the events unfolded simultaneously on three platforms: on the wrestling carpet, on the stage and in front of the yurt. The folklore ensemble of the village showed a theatrical performance about the old tradition of joint wool laying, felt making and knitting. And then the guests were taken to the yurt, where on the table were presented 26 kinds of national dishes and dishes prepared by local craftswomen.
The festivities are over, but the festival of brand events in Yangan-Tau Geopark continues, so we can see many more ancient traditions of national holidays.
