The resort "Yangan-Tau" was visited by a well-known Japanese scientist, developer of anticancer drugs, Professor Kazuo Umezawa.
A Japanese researcher has repeatedly visited the capital of the republic on a working visit to strengthen cooperation aimed at developing the oncological service of Bashkortostan. In the sanatorium "Yangan-Tau" the light of Japanese medicine was visited for the first time and was able to appreciate the quality of the provided spa services.
During the rest in the Bashkir sanatorium, the foreign guest familiarized himself with the treatment methods of unique, unparalleled geothermal vapors and gases, on the application of which the main medical profile of the sanatorium is based. An excursion to the resort’s vast territory and museum was also organized for the professor and his companions.
At the end of the visit, Kazuo Umezawa shared his impressions of what he saw: “This is a very good place that gives happiness to many people, and therefore is important. I am particularly impressed with the long history of using steam baths. The exposition of the museum and the tour are magnificent.”
